Find a company in another country's register
Type a company name. If you know where it is registered, say so; if you don't, leave the country blank and we will ask every public register we can search for free — currently United Kingdom, Norway, Finland, France, Czechia, Ireland, United States, plus the worldwide LEI index. You get each register's own record: its identifier, legal form, registered office, status and, where the register publishes it, whether there is an insolvency entry against the company. Nothing is stored.
A name match is not an identification
Unrelated companies share names all the time, and one group can appear in several registers under slightly different ones. Everything here is what a register returned for the words you typed — treat each row as a candidate, open the register's own record from the link, and confirm the identifier before you rely on it.
What this does NOT search
Most of the world. Germany, Sweden and Hong Kong charge for access; the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India and Singapore each need their own registered account; Estonia and Belgium publish files rather than a live search; China and the EU-wide BRIS portal are browser-only. The coverage page lists every one with its reason and a link, so you know where to go yourself. A blank result here means “not in the registers we searched” — never “this company does not exist”.
Companies, not people
We show corporate records only — a company's registered office, never an individual's name or address. Some registers return directors, and France and Czechia both list sole traders whose registered name is a person's own name; those are discarded before anything reaches this page, and the count of what was excluded is shown against the register that returned it. Care-of lines in a registered office are removed for the same reason.
Registers lag
Every register here is behind real filings by days or more, and Ireland's open dataset is a daily snapshot rather than the live register. A company incorporated this week may not be visible yet.
Checking a UK company?
This searches Companies House by name and stops there. The UK company check reads the whole record — overdue filings, outstanding charges, the PSC register, late charge registrations and the register of disqualified directors — and gives you a downloadable report.
